Weekly Update

Kia ora koutou - hello everyone

Live Streaming... We are continuing to live stream our services to our Northpoint Whanau Group on Facebook every week. Please note this group is closed to the public and is by invite only. Our best intention is to have the camera focused on the front stage only, which will mean if you are sitting in the side sections you will not be in view. Both adults and children going onto the stage or walking up the front will possibly be included in the livestream. If there are privacy issues with children in your care, please let us know and we will take suitable steps to comply with any requests for them not be recorded.

Hi everyone, this year the light party is going to look a little bit different due to covid. We still really wanted to have a community event but with the uncertainty that 2020 has provided our normal light party was a no go. BUT... This year we are excited to have a family friendly outdoor movie event. We will be playing 2 movies one at 5pm and the other at 7pm. (Movies will be announced at church then online over the next 2 Sunday’s). We will still have food to purchase and dress up is always welcome. HOW CAN YOU HELP... We still need lots of volunteers to help with the food stalls, ticketing and parking. Please sign up at the office or on the clip boards on Sunday if you can help.

Our love and prayers go out to the following families who have recently lost a loved one:

Weideman family - Robyn's sister in South Africa. Robyn is travelling there now and would appreciate prayers for health while away.

Deirdre Smith - Deirdre's Mum. The funeral was held on Tuesday.

We would also like to acknowledge others in our church whanau who have also loved ones this during this year. It is our hope to make this whanau news a regular space in our Friday e-mail to inform you of a range of significant happenings in the life of our church family.

Pastoral Care - If you have anything that you would like support for, please contact Shona on 021 106 7561 or e-mail and we can organise a visit or phone call from one of the members of our pastoral care team. Please also feel free to let us know if you need any practical help that we can assist with. We are not meant to journey alone, so for any reason, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Prayer Chain - if you would like prayer for anything, you can also get in touch with Diane Martin on 755 0639.
